Learning Poverty is Growing Bigger and Faster.
Children from low-income families receive fewer opportunities for talent and academic enrichment than children from higher-income backgrounds.
As the school year progresses, these children aren't able to follow the teachings due to poor comprehension, which leads to lower self-confidence.
Falling Behind in School is Setting Them Back Even Further
As a result, they fall behind, lose interest in attending school and eventually become more susceptible to bad influences. These lead to poor life choices and reduce the chances of breaking free from the poverty cycle.
The solution to "more schooling" does not work. Instead, we opt for "purposeful learning" by focusing on talent development to help the children expand their capacity to learn.
Meet Zakwan
This is Zakwan, 9 years old. Despite struggling in school, he showed immense interest in football.
Upon discovering his talent, we arranged his admission to a local football academy. All related expenses are fully covered.
Today he is a happy kid, growing in confidence and showing more interest in learning.
There are many other high-potential children from low-income families who struggle the same.
We can help them too.
