Here today to share our thoughts and suggestions to the policy-drafting process based on Ungku Aziz Centre (UAC) study's final findings.
It is hope that the results of this discussion will provide a strong guidance to the Malaysian Ministry of Economy in formulating a more inclusive and effective National Poverty Policy Framework.
UAC has been appointed by the Malaysian Ministry of Economy to carry out a significant study entitled "From Vision to Action:
The Framework Proposal for The National Poverty Policy".
The study helps:
To examine the issue of poverty in Malaysia and determine the root causes.
To develop a comprehensive policy framework for the National Poverty Policy Framework that will provide guidance and strategies to reduce poverty throughout the country.
To move integrated steps and programs that help to translate the vision into effective actions.
This is a crucial phase toward strengthening the poverty strategy and encouraging actions to alleviate poverty in Malaysia.
